Ubuntu 20.04 List of existing notes closes on keyboard locale change

Greetings!

I have an issue trying to change keyboard layout when list of existing notes popup is opened. After putting [[ inside a note while having English layout on, the popup appears. My notes have Russian titles so I switch to Russian layout in order to search a needed note. After switching locale the note selection popup closes immediately.

The list of existing notes popup closes despite hotkeys I use to change locales: I tried Super+Space and set up CapsLock to alter between them.

Also I noticed that there is no such issue on Mac OS.

My Environment is as follows:
Ubuntu 20.04 LTS
Sublime 3.2.2 build 3211
