Under the latest version, the above issues have occurred sometimes when I use PETG filament, but it doesn't happen while using PLA+ filament.

Does not really sound like a firmware issue. PETG does more stringing as far as I know and if you get underextrusion your drive might be slipping and more heat might help here or printing slower. You might also try wiping settings in slicer to reduce the stringing issue.
