Automate hybrid cloud management using ManageIQ and Ansible

Description

Since ManageIQ code-name Fine release it is possible to automate environment using Ansible) instead of ManageIQ's legacy Automate Datastore which is in Ruby. Goal of this project is to develop automation using Ansible and Ruby to extend usage of ManageIQ for hybrid cloud management and automation.

Tasks

1. Develop Ansible Playbooks which can be imported as ansible repositories in ManageIQ.
2. Develop Service dialogs needed to execute playbooks as service catalogs(link)
3. Develop or/and enhance code required for automate
4. Write documentation which should help others to use those playbooks in their environment using(any one):
   • gitbook
   • Python Sphinx
   • LaTeX
   • Suggestions welcome

Prerequisites

1. Project is highly task oriented and depend on self-learning
2. Knowledge of GNU/Linux
3. Knowledge of Ansible and/or Ansible Tower
4. Knowledge of Ruby and/or Ruby on Rails
5. Git
6. You may need infrastructure and resource for development and testing. Good to have a Laptop
