Hello, I'm working to implement verovio in a project, but I'm running into issues when trying to render segno and coda symbols. Exporting from Finale, segnos are exported into xml like so
However, when rendering this file through verovio the segno displays as a broken character. Codas exhibit similar behavior.
From verovio's reference document (https://book.verovio.org/advanced-topics/smufl.html)
It seems to me that the VerovioText font includes symbols for segnos and codas, evidenced by this character map https://torinak.com/font/lsfont.html#https://raw.githubusercontent.com/rism-digital/verovio/develop/fonts/VerovioText-1.0.ttf?raw=true
However, trying to use the hexadecimal character like the verovio reference books suggests (later on that page) does not work on my end.
Can anyone share any existing workarounds with me for these and related symbols? Studying the documentation and existing examples available hasn't gotten me any answers. These are unfortunately going to be very common symbols for my use case and could be the difference in whether or not verovio is a viable option.
Thank you in advance for any guidance!
