Is it possible to notate finger exchanges in verovio (or MEI)?

Which means play the (top) note with finger 4, then switch to finger 5 without restriking the note.

Here is a more complicated example on page 45:

In this case play the F5 whole note with finger 1 (thumb) then switch to finger 5, later switch to finger 4.

In this case the exchange is delayed and placed below the 4.

Slightly different, but same basic meaning:

The F4 quarter note is played with the thumb (finger 1), then while holding down the F4 with the thumb, also play G4 eight note with the thumb.
