Custom Ubuntu Images

Custom OpenStack images and Vagrant boxes should be created using Packer. These images should be automatically recreated regularly using scheduled GitLab CI jobs.

Tasks

All of the following tasks must be complete before this issue can be closed. Be sure to reference this issue in the relevant issues/PRs in other repositories.

  • Ubuntu 18.04 Server
  • Ubuntu 18.04 Workstation
  • Ubuntu 16.04 Server
  • Ubuntu 16.04 Workstation
  • Export images to Vagrant
  • Export images to OpenStack
  • Document what has been added/configured to the images

A custom Ubuntu 18.04 Server image was created and manually uploaded to OpenStack.
