#GemTools

##Downloads Here are links for downloading a GemTools one-click for GemStone 3.1 or GemStone 3.2:

• GemTools 1.0-beta.8.7 for Gemstone/S 3.1.0.x all platforms
• GemTools 1.0-beta.8.7.1 for Gemstone/S 3.2.0.x all platforms

##Getting started 2. After unzipping download, launch GemTools.

• Mac: double click on GemTools-1.0-beta.8.7.1-32x.app
• Windows: enter GemTools-1.0-beta.8.7.1-32x.app directory and double click on GemTools-1.0-beta.8.7.1-32x.lnk
• Linux: enter GemTools-1.0-beta.8.7.1-32x.app directory and run GemTools-1.0-beta.8.7.1-32x.sh

3. Define a new Session using the GemTools Session Menu.
4. Login using the Login button.
5. Update the GemTools Launcher to make sure you are using the latest version of GemTools.
6. Make a backup of your initial repository.
7. Update GLASS to make sure you are using the latest version of GLASS.
8. Read the rest of the GemTools Launcher Guide to familiarize yourself with the operation of GemTools.
