projectMSDL integration / key capture

projectMSDL works INCREDIBLY as Lively wallpaper. It's stunning.

[remember WinAmp visuals? yup, as your wallpaper in Lively]

However :
projectM requires keyboard input for some core things, like Prev/Next/Random preset, and setting Audio Input for the visualizer to listen to

Is there any way to accomodate for this? The keys are standardized - even an extremely simple few buttons for Prev/Next/Random and cycling Audio Inputs. (p, n, r, Ctrl-I)

Did you try enabling keyboard input in settings -> wallpaper.

It may not work though, a direct keyboard hook in projectMSDL itself should work.
