Firefox inhibit signal not detected #49
Comments
v1 or main? I have used main on my daily driver (laptop) for over 6 month and have not noticed any issues (I use both firefox and chrome for video etc). |
v1, since that's the package available on Arch Linux through the AUR. Would you be willing to make a new release with the fixes? |
Ahh, yes v1 don't work anymore due to changes in the freedesktop spec since it was released. I will try to do a v2 release sometime this month, I can't just add the fixes to v1 as there are too many changes. |
Understood! I'd be happy to help in any way I can with the release, feel free to let me know if something needs to be done :) |
Just some minor changes to the UI and review a PR and we should be good to go :) |
When playing videos on Firefox via YouTube/Netflix, they inhibit power management, but it looks like powerkit fails to recognise it. I've had my laptop suspend after 30 min while watching movies if I didn't move the cursor every now and then. Not sure if this behaviour extends to other browsers too.
