Safari tabs opened by ImageFinder ignore preferences for tab ordering

I have Safari set to open new tabs immediately to the right of the current tab. It works 100% of the time—except when a new tab is opened via ImageFinder. When ImageFinder opens a tab, it's always placed at the far right of the window (contrary to the setting I've chosen).

Is there something about ImageFinder that's causing it to ignore preferences we've specified in Safari?
