Thanks for sharing your work.
I'm wondering if your script is compliant with Firewalld installed by default on fedora 37.
From my understanding, i think yes, because Firewalld is just a frontend and nfstables the backend.
Firewalld use is own table to manage all the chains and rules so that should work ...
Have you try it on recent distrib ?
