Also think about adding more "gadget" scripts such as my pdfinterleave and pdfcompress.

The one I'd vote for is pdf-book-for-printing-where-only-long-edge-duplex-is-available. And its equivalent for short-edge.
Though they would clearly need snappier short names!

See #65: --quiet currently doesn't do what many users might reasonably expect.
