What about allowing the Linux team to make releases of linux-embedded-hal? Isn't this project more heavy on the Linux than on the HAL side?

Background: @jannic and I were working on rust-embedded/linux-embedded-hal#123, rust-embedded/linux-embedded-hal#124, and rust-embedded/linux-embedded-hal#125 and ideally would have released 0.4.1 in this process.

I think this was a mistake, the Linux team manages the linux-embedded-hal project so should be able to release it on crates.io; I've added the team as an owner.

Seems like a good idea to me. Presumably the Linux team would keep the rest of us up to date with the cool stuff they're doing.

Heapless 0.9.2 should be released. It's only missing rust-embedded/heapless#612 to be merged because I needed to be update it via force-push, so I can't merge it myself anymore

Could work around it by closing that PR and opening a new one, I guess? A pain, but might be the easiest way forward.

Found a 3 year old ticket about social media ops: #651
Current proposal is outdated, but the general idea is of course still valid. Do we need / want this? If there's no interest in finishing this, we can as well close the ticket.

Phillip Oppermann and I will be done with our initial refresh of https://github.com/rust-embedded/rust-raspberrypi-OS-tutorials soon. It's called FlamingOS now: https://github.com/FlamingosProject/flamingos-preview is where we're currently working. Hopefully folks will be OK with us moving things to rust-embedded once we're ready?

Refresh features: compiles with stable Rust, builds with cargo xtask, all Ruby code replaced with Rust, runs on Raspberry Pi Zero 2W.
