Sorry to hear of your problems. I have to admit my Windows skills are somewhat dated. To understand your report I tried to at least partially reproduce.
Whatever. Then the first image of SSMS's font pulldown (it seems). What do I see there? Probably bold font names are fonts that are really monospaced. So far so good. In the second image you show one of the installed fonts. You marked the FamilyName and the FullName, for ... some reason?
Both is possible - if the problem is with the font we should fix it with 3.0.1 ;-)
Maybe you can point me to / explain how to use/do that. I know Chocolatey in general but never used it. BTW, I believe CaskaydiaCove did not (!) change much from To be able to 'really' reproduce, is this SSMS thing 'free', and if so, where do I get it? I must admit I still do not really get you problem, there is no simple 'problem statement' ;-) |

After installing, v3 for CaskaydiaCove, I noticed that
did not return the same thing as
Programs like SQL Server Management Studio, which don't allow you to pick a font name like VSCode or the like, did not like the new v3 CascadiaCode and would seemingly fail to use the font. SSMS's font wouldn't change immediately like the other fonts like Meslo or Terminus.
Here is the image from SSMS.
Here is the image from Windows Settings.
All this to say, is there something wrong with my install or maybe CascadiaCode nerd fonts in general? Or some other incompatibility with certain Windows applications?
NOTE
I was using
choco
for the uninstall/install.Beta Was this translation helpful? Give feedback.
