The July 2020 release of CAP does provide a New cds.Service Base Class. That should make it possible to implement a Cosmos DB adapter. This issue is based on this forum post: CAP Model with Azure Cosmos DB/SQL Tables. The npm package for Azure Cosmos can be found here: @azure/cosmos.

You might get some inspiration from the first version of cds-pg - PostgreSQL adapter for SAP CDS (CAP).
