Description:
Is your feature request related to a problem? Please describe.
For a beginner, the biggest hurdle isn't coding—it's knowing where to start. While OpenSource-Compass provides great direction, users often feel overwhelmed choosing from a static list of projects. They need a "Compass" that actually talks to them and understands their current skill level.
Describe the solution you'd like
I propose adding an Interactive AI Pathfinder. This would be a lightweight chat-based or form-based assistant that:
Analyzes the User: Asks 3 simple questions about their stack (e.g., HTML/JS) and interests (e.g., UI/UX or Backend).
Suggests a Path: Recommends specific beginner-friendly issues or repositories from our database.
Explains the "Why": Tells the user why this specific project fits their current "Compass" reading.
Describe alternatives you've considered
Using a static filtered list, which is helpful but doesn't provide the personalized "mentorship" feel that a beginner needs to feel confident.
I am willing to work on this!
Yes, I am a community organizer and contributor. I want to build this feature to make the "Compass" more interactive and intelligent.
