Problem description:
I have around 2350 notes in obsidian on windows. The vault is up and running and already indexed with omnisearch.
When I install Obsidian on android. (syncing via Synology NAS) I have to reindex my whole vault.
That initial Obsidian Vault sync works in under 20 seconds when Omnisearch is disabled.
But the omnisearch plugin let's it crash before it shows the whole notes it has to index.
is there a way to just let it index the vault 1 / 2 pages per minute?
Or can I somehow copy the indexed vault from the PC to android?
Your environment:
Omnisearch version: 1.22.2
Obsidian version: 1.5.12
Operating system: Android 14 / One-UI 6.0
Number of indexed documents in your vault (approx.): 2350
Things to try:
Does the problem occur when Omnisearch is the only active community plugin: yes
Does the problem occur when you don't index PDFs, images, or other non-notes files: yes
Does the problem occur after a cache reset: haven't tried.
