I've been encouraged to switch to the mysql2 package for Node, in FeedLand, that it would improve performance and compatibility.
It is advertised as being almost totally compatible with the original package, so I'm thinking if we should make the switch.
If anyone has any experience with this transition, I'm interested in knowing if there were problems, and is the new package much better than the old one?
