Grafana has a bunch of problems around Prometheus annotations. They are all collected now under grafana/grafana#63687

I think there's a regression in latest versions. I don't recall seeing it in the past.

@mykaul I haven't seen that. Problems with annotations appear randomly, and sometimes, they relate to the time interval you are using.
Hopefully, Grafana would take it more seriously
