Expanding discussion from #14 to a bigger scope -- how does github fit in with the rest of the project's collaboration tools?
Initial thoughts:
One potential business value I see is in internal metrics. It would be cool to be able to have data that let us see:
time spent on each feature from our feature board, averages, trends
time spent directly towards feature development vs time spent on maintenance, refactoring, devops, other types of tech work
Another potential benefit would be in automation - it would be cool to have some of the card transitions in our trello feature board happen automatically. e.g. QUEUE -> WORKING when someone creates a branch named after the feature, WORKING -> STAGING when it gets merged to release.
