When your account's main view (front page) is set to "Newspaper Home," the only customization option available is sorting the documents by their publication or update date.

I find it necessary that, in the near future, new customization options be added to the "Newspaper Home" view to maximize reader engagement, improve overall clarity, and, most importantly, enhance the writer's reach with the documents they create.

Some useful customization options:

  • The ability to choose which documents appear (or do not appear) on the front page.
  • Sections to improve the organization of the frontpage. For instance, the writer could guide readers through different document categories: In the first section: Articles (which are standalone documents) and in other section: Collections (which are Documents that group other documents by category).
  • Customizable blocks for the front page that function like Lego pieces, allowing users to configure the placement and size of articles. (Of course, a minimal structure should be required to maintain clarity and a clean design.)

For example, on lunaticoin.blog, instead of having everything mixed up, documents should appear at the top of the front page, followed by separate sections for categories like "Podcast" , "Nostr: Lista de Recursos" or "Guías y Recursos". This would greatly improve navigation and make the website's content more intuitive for readers (as it is currently quite confusing).
