NVIDIA app & Nvidia Control Panel gone?

First of all, thank you for g-helper.
I think i am going to like this.

My question is: now that I installed g-helper, the NVIDIA app and NVIDIA control panel are no longer accessible.

• When I click on the NVIDIA app I get a pop up that says, "There was a problem... retry or try reinstalling the NVIDIA app."

• When I click on the NVIDIA control panel, nothing happens.

I am wondering if this is normal behavior after install of g-helper?
Should i try and reinstall the two apps or will I create some conflicts?
I looked on the github site, but did not see any mention of this.

my specs:
make/model: ASUS ROG Strix G16 G615LR (2025)
CPU: Intel Core Ultra 9 275HX 2.70 GHz
GPU: NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5070 Ti, 12GB
NVIDIA Driver: Studio Driver - 576.02

@nickelslots hello,

G-Helper does not have any installation first of all :) It's just an exe that you run or you don't.

But if you select Eco GPU mode in G-Helper or in Armoury Crate - it completely turns off GPU. So Nvidia app and Control panel won't launch (as there is no visible GPU for them). It's absolutely normal.

You need to turn on Standard to use GPU.

would i need to mess around with NVIDIA Control Panel once I have run G-Helper?

You don't really need to "mess" with it. But you need it for all the Nvidia driver settings as well for controlling of the advanced optimus status. All this things are proprietary for nvidia app (or nvidia control panel) only.
