@Juah56 hello, did you try using latest https://github.com/seerge/g-helper/releases/tag/v0.214 ? I have added a workaround specifically for your model there |

Hi, I found out today that the issue is still happening, although less frequently than before. After about 10 wake-ups from hibernation, the keyboard backlight failed to turn on 2 times. Do you know what might be causing this, or how to fix it? :/ |

Hi. Is there a way to get the keyboard backlight to work on boot and not on sign in? I downloaded the version given and then also tried the latest version and it only works after signing in. I have it set so it should work on boot and awake. Also sometimes it doesnt turn on even after signing in and requires a manual toggle of dynamics light. Asus tuf a16 FA608WI |

Hello,
I have an Asus TUF Gaming A16 FA608 (2024) laptop and I'm having an issue with the keyboard backlight when using GHelper and Windows Dynamic Lighting is turned off.
Here's the problem:
When I disable Windows Dynamic Lighting and control the keyboard backlight using GHelper, everything works fine until the laptop goes into hibernation.
After waking the laptop from hibernation, the keyboard backlight doesn't turn on at all, even though GHelper is running.
To fix it, I have to either restart the laptop or turn Windows Dynamic Lighting on and off again, and then the keyboard backlight starts working based on GHelper settings.
This issue does not happen when the laptop wakes from sleep mode — only from hibernation.
Also, if I control lighting through Armoury Crate and pair it with Windows Dynamic Lighting, the backlight works correctly after hibernation. But I prefer not to use Armoury Crate or Windows Dynamic Lighting because they are limited and a bit clunky.
I really want to control the keyboard lighting only through GHelper, but after the laptop wakes up from hibernation, the keyboard backlight doesn't work at all — the keyboard stays completely dark and unresponsive.
As soon as I turn Windows Dynamic Lighting on and off again, or restart the laptop, the backlight comes back on and I can fully control it through GHelper, switching between all modes without issues.
However, every time the laptop goes into hibernation and I turn it back on, I have to repeat this process again. It becomes a loop where I constantly need to toggle Dynamic Lighting or restart the system just to get the backlight working with GHelper.
Is there any solution or workaround for this?
Could GHelper be updated to reinitialize the keyboard backlight properly after hibernation, even with Windows Dynamic Lighting turned off?
Thank you
