/lib Directory is not there

when I try to load the extension in chrome, an error pops out saying "Could not load background script 'lib/logging.js'."
then I noticed in the manifest.json file there are scripts start with "/lib" directory, but lib directory is not there in the root directory, there is one inside views but it doesn't contain the same js files specifies under "scripts" inside the manifest.js file,
then I checked the .gitignore file, and there was it, /lib/ is inside git ignore, how to run it without these scripts?
