I may help ... I know quite well Windows host monitoring. I have not yet had a look to Windows monitoring with the new Shinken version, so, please, should you explain what you installed and what you are trying to monitor ? |
I have just installed this pack. The plugin (with the command definition associated to it) returns this output when plugin is launched This Output is visible on webui, of course. |
I will try to have a look today ... keep you informed in this issue. |
Thanks but there is no emergency. I just posted that here so that we don't forget it. |
I also need this pack in my environment ... |
@DessaiImrane : I made a test with the Windows pack to monitor a Windows PC with an installed Windows XP Pro ... and I had no problems. |
Arf ! That is too bad for me if we can reproduce it. I tried on a windows 7 Pro. Maybe related to this version of OS ? |
I will also ake a test with a Win 7 Pro ... keep in touch ! 2014-03-25 12:38 GMT+01:00 DessaiImrane [email protected]:

Hi, had the same problem and figured out where part of it is coming from. in the /packs/os/windows/commands.cfg there are some errors. For the command : check_windows_big_processes, the command_line associated does not use the correct syntax for mode. It has "-m checkproc" but should have "-m checkprocess". I updated this and it works fine without the error now. For the other three processes, I can see that the modes are note defined in the /libexec/check_wmi_plus.pl , but I can't find what they should be as of yet. They don't seemed defined in the mode list. I will try to continue to investigate in case I can find the error |
Ignore my above post, I found out why they don't exist. You have to get the updated checkWMIplus.pl files from the following site: Not sure why they don't come by default though.... |
Those services returns : "A valid MODE and/or SUBMODE must be specified"
I think, something is broken is command definition but I can't find what.
I need some help on this.
Thanks.
