Love this node but the Brightness works as an 'Offset' behaviour where the expected behaviour of a brightness is to multiply the value rather than add to it. This node currently 'lifts blacks' rather than 'brightens brights'.
Hopefully that makes sense ?
I come from VFX where the convention of a brightness is different to an offset - which is also an operation we use ! but are independent.
While i'm at it - the Gamma does the opposite to expected. I have a Photogrammetry model that's come out with sRGB colour-per-vertex and I would expect to de-gamma (.454545) the values to return it to linear and then have the Houdini viewport display as sRGB. In the current version I actually Gamma it up 2.2 to correct it.
Thanks team - really love the work!
