Hi,

I know @SideFXGameDev is working on it so here is an issue for updates about it.

What is the reason for the delay? I don't know substance's private API but it should be cross-platform no?

Thanks

It's mainly a distribution issue at this point. And figuring out the best way to distribute the substance libraries that the plugin needs. If you have any input on setting rpath vs ld_librarypath let me know. Were also working with the substance team on options

Aren't the core Substance libraries:

  • libsubstance_ogl2_blend.dylib
  • libsubstance_ogl3_blend.dylib
  • libsubstance_sse2_blend.dylib

Distributable in the dso folder? Like the Substance Automation Toolkit does.

Sorry for the late reply, I did receive your Linux version but I did not have the time to test it in time and I only have an 17.5 OSX license @ home.

Could you share an OSX build to test?
Do you have any update on the matter?

Thanks

No OSX build yet, we're working on all 3 at the moment but unfortunately no ETA
