Fuel Burnup rate displaying improperly? #5
Comments
It probably has to do with how the simulator handles waste. It ejects waste on each tick, but in-game reactors can only flush when there's at least 1,000mb of waste to eject. #2 is probably related. |
I've tested with many settings and is seams to be about 10 to 12 times too low in the simulator vs in game |
What seems too low? The power output? Many packs change the fuel consumption and power output multipliers of BR. If the multiplier is consistent across many layouts, that's probably what's going on. |
Oh good to know, that's probably what is going on. I was using FTB : Infinity Evolved the power output is fine, only the burn up rate is higher in game. Thanks On Aug 21, 2016 10:38, "Chris Mullins" [email protected] wrote:

While attempting to find out the stats for a 5X5X5 reactor, I decided to do an in game test just for accuracy sake. When comparing the EXACT same configuration from in-game and on the simulator, all the stats but one were pretty much spot on. For some reason the fuel burn-up rate in the simulator is about 7% accurate.
Here's a screenshot of the control panel in game: http://puu.sh/mIBd5/268046dfef.jpg
Here's a screenshot of the reactor simulator: http://puu.sh/mIBdd/5c6f2742f6.png
These were both configured with exactly the same parameters. The reactor was 5X5X5, control rod insertion was 0, the rod configuration was exactly the same in both, and the cryotheum was filled in the reactor exactly the same.
Am i doing something wrong, or is there some option that i need to change in the panel?
