Bug description

I'm getting a popup saying "Something went wrong with your username, it's no longer assigned to your account. You can try and set it again or choose a new one."

Context:
Yesterday, I transferred signal from an android phone to this android phone. Both phones have signal 7.28.4 installed. First attempt failed, second was successful.
This morning, after switching off airplane mode, I got the popup. I did not try to fix it yet, as i found a similar bug report in the signal-desktop issues. However, I am not using signal desktop, nor do i have any linked devices.
