Caprine blank window on Linux #2129
Comments
You will need to make a fork of the repository and form there create a new branch with changes and after that you can create a pull request (docs for more information). I would however recommend to wait with that since we're planning to bump most of the packages to a newer version #2121. This was just a workaround. |
@dusansimic great, thanks for the info, didn't read the documentation |
This seems to have been fixed in the latest release |
I experienced the issue at least two times in the last few months on Fedora 39. Updating Caprine solved the issue in the past, but now it appears on Fedora 40 with the recent flatpak version of Caprine — not on each boot, but on almost every boot. Caprine menu / File / Relaunch Caprine helped to load the complete layout right now. I found out, that the DNF Copr version works fine, so I uninstalled Flatpak. What kind of help is expected here? Is the issue #2172 not the same? |
This seems to be common for several Linux distributions and package formats.
As a workaround we're downgrading to Electron v25 and releasing a new version.
