When I stream via an agent - does that work properly?

I have the following code:

let stream = await got
  .stream("http://my-domain.com/img.jpg", {
    agent: {
      http: new HttpProxyAgent("http://localhost:3128"),
    },
  })

This works fine when I exclude the agent. When I include the agent like above, I see the following error:

 Parse Error: Expected HTTP/

I can see that Squid has managed to cache the object.

Somewhere in the link between streaming the result from Squid > agent > got something goes wrong.

But I can't tell where. I can put the http://my-domain.com/img.jpg into my cache just fine using curl - it's just streaming it out again where the problem lies.

Does anybody have any clues? Is this an issue with Got, the Proxy Agent, or Squid? I've sat with this problem for over a week and I just don't know where to look any longer.
