I tried a random model such as this one. But this is what I get...

Imported model

This happens to all models. If there is an armature it doesn't look like blender's orange transparent armature. And no model to be found

Blender v3.1.4
Addon v1.5.0 (latest)

If I import by downloading from the website it imports the model, but the armature doesnt look the way it should (doesnt match the website editor)

Same issue here. Models no longer import for Blender 3.5.1
