I think we're on the right track with the EHR write-back framework, but I'm a bit concerned about the scope of the proposal - are we sure we're showcasing the most compelling aspects of the framework, given the target conferences and prerequisites? Specifically, the Cerner adapters seem to be a key part of the framework, but we don't have much information on how they integrate with the HAPI FHIR demo or Epic sandbox demo. Can you elaborate on the plan for demonstrating these integrations in the proposed talks?

Hi, thank you for the comment. I haven't formulated the plan to a great degree. What I envision is a demonstration of the capability, sending Databricks predictive modeling scores back to an EHR using FHIR standard protocols. It could be useful to highlight any vendor specific idiosyncrasies... my experience is currently limited to Epic implementation. Cerner will be explored as part of this work. Is that something you have some experience with?

I think we're getting closer to clarifying the plan, but I'd like to add that our goal is to create a generalizable framework, not a vendor-specific one. To that end, let's focus on demonstrating the core components of the EHR write-back framework, such as the HAPI FHIR adapter and the data mapping logic, and then highlight how we can adapt it to different EHR systems like Epic and Cerner. This will help us show the flexibility and reusability of our approach.
