[Bug]: GIMP error when opening PNG file: "Failed to decode Exif metadata." #442
Description
What happened?
GIMP asked me to file this here, I am not quite aware what the problem should be. I was opening a PNG image. The only strange behaviour of GIMP that I notivced, is that in fhe "open file" dialog the files in my folder were not sorted alphabetivacally altough I had clicked on the "name" header to sort them. The file was opened then, but this error message popped up.
I am sorry if this is should be an unnecessary post, but GIMP asked me to do so.
What should have happened?
The PNG file should have been opened without any further ado.
