[BUG] Unintuitive default state for checkbox

Describe the bug

Checkbox supposed to to two state. When default value for checkbox is defined but the value is required, checkbox value turn into undefined which is visually the same as false.

To Reproduce

Steps to reproduce the behavior:

1. Go to '...'
2. Click on '....'
3. Scroll down to '....'
4. See error

Expected behavior

Either make the ui differentiable or make a hard default of checkbox to false.
