This repo does not seem to have been updated since August 2019. Moreover, Solid OIDC seems to have replaced WebID-OIDC in the Solid Protocol (specific commit here: solid/specification@4b0cfaa).

Has WebID-OIDC been superseded by Solid OIDC in the Solid protocol?

If so, it would be helpful to clearly state this and link to the Solid OIDC spec in this repo's Readme.md, and possibly also archive this repo if it is no longer being actively maintained. Additionally, it would be helpful to replace references to WebID-OIDC with references to Solid OIDC in all other Solid documents, for instance:

I would hope not, since this WebID-OIDC repo contains a lot more info on the authentication flow than the Solid-OIDC spec does. To me, it seems as though the latter simply builds on the former, adding some small requirements specific to the Solid ecosystem. In any case, they do not seem to contradict each other, as far as I can immediately derive. It would be a lot clearer, indeed, if the necessary references — or, if I'm wrong: replacements — would be added to both specifications and their respective environments.

Since this issue has been left unanswered for a while since opening, anyone care to comment?

Thanks in advance! Sorry for tagging you all; not sure who'd be most relevant.
