Create Personal "Secure" devices from Hacker Devices

Would it be possible to take the hacker version of the Solo v2 and use my personal keys / CA infrastructure to created signed builds that I produce, that going forward the device would only accept from my signature?

This would allow me to have some level of security greater than a standard hacker device while still allowing me to experiment with my own modifications to the firmware.

Yes definitely. We have this command line tool we've been developing which you can use to lock a device with your own keys. Yet to be published is some more instructions.

do note this that you obviously wont have the Solo Attestation from that so you might wanna make your own.

Hi will there be also an option to convert the hacker version to a Secure that only accepts the Officail builds?
Basically remove all debug options and configure it so that i only accepts the Officail builds.
the Attestation would be diffrent of coure but from you other thread i inderstand that is only important to detect that the key is genuine and is only checked in special circumstances.

considering this is already easily possible on v1, I wouldnt be surprised if it's also in v2
