As command translation:update is deprecated since Symfony 5.4:

Command "translation:update" is deprecated since version 5.4 and will be removed in Symfony 6.0. Use "translation:extract" instead.

Command translation:extract should execute AdminExtractor too, however this is not happening.

The same command was renamed by Symfony symfony/symfony#43758
and it's supposed to extract translation from every classes which implements ExtractorInterface

So:

• I have some trouble to think such a bug would exists
• If such a bug exists, I can't say it's on Sonata side

Sorry for bothering, this issue is more likely here php-translation/symfony-bundle#446 and definitely not in Sonata. I am closing this.
