Can the default terminationGracePeriod be safely reduced ? #123

According to

Line 105 in c0f8810

terminationGracePeriod: 120

Default termination grace period is 2 minutes.

Could you please explain:

why this is by default so long ?
if we can plan safely to reduce it ?
