Ay up!
I'm a computer science student. In my free-time I develop MediaWiki extensions, sometimes work on information datamining tools for games, or play around with servers and software.
I am, or had been, working on following projects:
- wiki.gg Redirect: I've created the initial "Redirect to wiki.gg" project that became wiki.gg Redirect, and am currently the codebase's primary maintainer.
MediaWiki
- DataMaps: an extension to display interactive maps in wiki articles without additional software. This extension is in use by, for example, the Official Temtem Wiki and the Official ARK Wiki.
- Unregistered Edit Links: an extension which restores links to edit or create pages when anonymous edits are disabled.
- ThemeToggle: a skin theming system for sites with aggressively cached HTML.
ARK
- Purlovia (and Obelisk): a project that extracts game data from ARK: Survival Evolved and many of its mods every single day, making it publicly available for other tools to use.
- ARK Wiki: a guide and information source for Ark. I mainly worked on getting data extracted by Purlovia live on there, available for everyone in simpler forms.
- Internal ARK: Survival Ascended data extraction tools for ARK Wiki. These tools are used to generate the site's interactive maps.
- I've also done research on save file format changes in ARK: Survival Evolved and ARK: Survival Ascended, which has resulted in necessary patches to keep cadon's ARKSavegameToolkit and miragedmuk's fork running with new game updates.
