I always thought that education should be free and accessible easily for anyone. I've been a teacher for more than 20 years in France and worked on open-source projects as side projects.

I think the open-source philosophy should be applied in education and will help future generations to learn more efficiently on open and accessible tools and contents.

Here are the actual guiding principles:

• Easily write educational content using markdown syntax.
• Write and publish specification standards for each content type: definition, example, quiz, question...
• Build web components to easily use these contents on the web.
• Publish contents source as text files under source control with creative commons license.
• Publish contents as interactive html pages, static odt, doc, pdf formats.

Sharing these contents and tools will help students, teachers and also researchers to build AI based educational solutions.
