I’m building phase.rs, an open source Magic: The Gathering engine written in Rust with a React/TypeScript browser client.
The project’s biggest bottleneck is card support. Each newly supported card can involve parser work, typed engine behavior, rules validation, effect handling, AI considerations, and tests. The work compounds over time because every implemented mechanic becomes another building block for future cards, but getting there takes sustained development capacity.
Sponsorship helps fund that capacity. In practice, support goes toward the AI-assisted development tooling I use to move faster on phase.rs: running more focused coding agents, auditing parser gaps, implementing missing mechanics, and verifying behavior without burning through my personal quota. That lets me spend more time converting unsupported cards into supported, tested engine behavior.
If you care about open source game engines, Rust/WASM, Magic rules implementation, or a serious community-built digital rules engine, your sponsorship helps more cards become playable sooner.

Select- Help fund ongoing phase.rs card support work: parser coverage, missing mechanics, rules validation, and tests. Includes the GitHub Sponsor badge.
$10 a month
Select- Support regular phase.rs card coverage work, especially Oracle parser improvements, unsupported card audits, and turning more card text into tested engine behavior.
$25 a month
Select- Fund more focused AI-assisted development time for phase.rs, especially expanding supported cards and improving rules-correct engine behavior. Includes optional name recognition in sponsor updates.
$50 a month
Select- Fund additional AI-assisted implementation capacity for phase.rs: more coding agents, deeper parser audits, missing mechanic work, and verification toward broader playable card coverage.
$100 a month
Select- Sponsor a meaningful increase in phase.rs implementation velocity: more agent-assisted card support work, parser audits, mechanic implementation, and verification. Includes optional name or logo recognition on the project site or README.
