• Learning helping everyone in the world learn what the need to learn (AnkiDroid maintainership, the occasional blog post)

If you use any of that software, changes are you've seen the benefit of repositories that are "alive" and generally up to date and functioning with functioning examples, versus that terrible feeling when you realize one of your dependencies has been abandoned.
