⌨️ Most of my code contributions are to JavaFX in the base and graphics modules. I focus on the 3D area of JavaFX as there is a lot of potential for improvement there, requiring knowledge of GPU languages like HLSL and GLSL.

💡 I've contributed JavaFX's implementations of SpotLight and DirectionalLight, as well as the attenuation in PointLight. Currently working on an API for texture sampling.

Open Source contributions are more than just code.

📄 I find documentation to be one of the most neglected areas of codebases, and I constantly find places where these can be improved. I contribute fixes all the way from typos to whole rewrites, like the ones for PhongMaterial and LightBase, including documentation outside of the code base, like the build instructions for OpenJFX so others can contribute more easily.

🔍 Open source also requires people to check the work someone else has written. Reviews, fix tests, and early access tests are essential. I've been involved in reviews and tests of many PRs and reports and discussions of many issues.


⛏️ I've written jextractGUI, a GUI wrapper for the jextract tool that helps creating Java bindings to native code.

Other tools wrappers are planned in the future.
