Not working anymore?

I have tried this sample and it seems to not work anymore :(

Were you able to get it to work @MrHerickS? I am facing the same issues and the documentation isn't the greatest.

It seems like they have deprecated the nodejs drivers, but I was able to convert it to spotware api v2 and use in my projects.

@MrHerickS May I ask that you share your wisdom? Here's what I did:

• I made a fork of this repo and updated the protos. See here: https://github.com/tpalts/connect-nodejs-samples
• I subscribed to authentication response, as well as spots

Here's the problem:

• I cannot catch any events
• When I enter faulty credentials, the connection fails, which gives me reason to believe that the connection itself works, but the code is unable to catch events

How did you overcome this? If needed, check out my fork. The readme describes how to run it.
