Description

What steps will reproduce the problem?

This pops up when I decline the offer for Spyder to update to 6.0.1 upon start up of Spyder 6.0.0 under Standard Anaconda installation running on Windows 11 Pro on Dell Latitude 5401.

The message "Spyder has encountered an internal problem!" is little concerning - this hgappens each time I start Spyder now.

Hey @RussT-n8, thanks for reporting. I was able to reproduce this problem and we'll try to fix it on our 6.0.2 version, to be released in a couple of weeks.

You can ignore it in the meantime.
