Hey I can't seem to get the offline version to work on Android, I've extracted and opened index.html in Chrome but no dice. Any tips? It would great to have lookup by keywords when I'm offline because it's deffo the fastest method of looking up kanji for me. Been a longtime user of the Hochanh site.

Great project/expansion btw, I've been considering working on something very similar (offline/app version of RTK Search) but was happy to see you'd already taken the lead! If I can get your offline version to work on my phone I'll be a very happy chappy

@powerphail Hey, nice to hear you found this useful! This is starting to get a few users ;) I'm assuming you use RTK names? I've learned using Wanikani myself, but i appreciate that RTK has some finer differentiations and I'm basically learning these names alongside now which is fun ;) (e.g. 阝is just "building" in Wanikani, while in RTK it's pinnacle on the left and city walls when on the right, isn't it?)

So, about Android: Strange that the offline version should not work there immediately. Are you getting any errors in the browser console? I'll try to test Android offline myself. I'll also update the offline branch, as the online one is often a bit ahead.

@powerphail By the way, you did also extract the .js files and so on, right? The index.html in itself is not enough ;)

Also, if you have any suggestions for the RTK side of this tool, feel free to share.
For example, the button that links to the Wanikani page of a kanji page could link to an RTK site instead, like kanji koohi maybe?
(i'd just need to get a simple way to link it by kanji, instead of this: https://kanji.koohii.com/study/kanji/18)

@powerphail looks like it only works in Opera.
Chrome on Android seems to not be able to load local assets like javascript or even images:
