Whether 2FA is a free or paid feature will depend on the number of open source sponsors that the project has by the time 2FA is released. Unfortunately the project is receiving at the moment less than $500 per month which makes it really hard to work full time on it. The Enterprise version is needed to sustain the project, unless the number of recurring sponsors increases. |

I've been using Stalwart for the last couple months, and waiting on 2fa and app passwords before using it properly in production.
I now see that https://stalw.art/compare/ shows they will only be available in an enterprise edition, is that correct? This makes Stalwart pretty much nonviable for those of us coming from the likes of MailCow or Cloudron for small business use cases.
Could you please confirm that this is indeed the direction Stalwart is heading?
I realise there has to be points of difference to make an EE financially viable - but these are basic security requirements for many people.
