Integration of External Database with Stalwart Server

Hello everyone,

I’m exploring how to modify my Stalwart server setup to use my own external database. Is there anything important stored in the Stalwart internal server that I should be aware of? anyone has setup their own external database to manage user data, mail metadata, and folders and connected it with stalwart?

Any help with the necessary instructions or guidance would be greatly appreciated!

Hi,

There is no concept of internal or external databases in Stalwart, please read the storage documentation for details. You can chose to store your data in any of the supported backend types (RocksDB, PostgreSQL, mySQL, FoundationDB, etc)
