@marta-lokhova marta-lokhova changed the title background ledger close: rewrite externalize path to continue buffering ledgers while ledger close is happening. This entails correctly continuing externalizing and triggering next ledger once ledger close is complete. In V1, during catchup and buffered ledger replay, we're not closing in the background yet. This is because when out of sync, we're not actually flooding any transactions. That being said, we still flood SCP traffic, so we can consider background ledger close in the future. background ledger close: rewrite externalize path to continue buffering ledgers during ledger close May 14, 2024
